    Summer’s gone but it’s not too late to make an appointment for your senior portraits. If looking good, having fun and saving money are important to you, read on. Answers to most of your questions about senior pictures at Creative Imaging Center can be found in this letter.

But there’s a lot more to it than just saving money.

    Saving money is only a good deal if you like what you get for your money. At Creative Imaging Center, we’ve been making seniors look great for over 20 years. Our photographer, Dean Gurr, knows how to make even the most camera-shy senior feel completely at ease during their session. His easy-going style takes the edge off, so you hardly even know you’re being photographed.     At Creative Imaging Center, you won’t have to worry about how your portraits will turn out.  We will spend time with you before your session, discussing both your parents’ and your ideas, so we know what you want. You can show your photographer photos you like from those on display at the studio, or from any you have brought from home. The entire focus of the session is on your needs and desires, so you get exactly what you’re looking for.

    Why do we offer such an iron-clad guarantee? Because so much time and effort are invested before and during your session to make sure you get images you’ll just love, the chances that you’ll have to use this guarantee are pretty slim. But it’s nice to know if for any reason your pictures aren’t everything you thought they would be, you’re not stuck with them.

    We’ll do whatever it takes to make you happy. After all, what good are senior portraits (even those on sale) if you don’t like them?

So what’s it like to be photographed at Creative Imaging Center?

    When you call for your session appointment, our friendly team of experts will discuss your needs and answer any questions you may have. In a day or two you will receive a full color brochure in the mail that will help you prepare for your session. This brochure will answer questions about details like clothing choices, hairstyles, who and what to bring to the session, even a detailed map to the studio. When you read the brochure you will feel much more at ease about your session appointment.   

    The day before your session we’ll give you a call to see if you have any last minute questions. Then, when you arrive on your session day, your photographer will visit you to discuss your outfits or any portrait ideas you may have, including any photos you may have brought from magazines, CD covers, Web sites, etc.

      Your session will be amazingly relaxed. You can have a parent, sibling and/or friend come in with you to watch and help out. (For some reason, many studios don’t allow anyone else in the camera room, but we welcome visitors.) You can bring your iPod (or other player) with your favorite music to play on our stereo. You’ll be surprised at how quickly things go, especially because every one of your photos will be different. It will be unlike any other photographic experience you’ve ever had.

So how much do they cost?

Creative Imaging Center senior portraits are affordable! Individual gift portraits start as low as $59. But you’ll save even more by selecting one of several different portrait and wallet packages beginning at just $99. There’s even a “Build Your Own Package” option that allows you to get exactly the quantity and size images to fit your needs.

    Our clients love the way we work with them so they get what they want.

What about payments?

    You can spread your payments out to fit your budget. The session fee (less your $40 discount, if you call right now) is due when you make your appointment (you can use a credit card, or you can send a check within three business days).  After your session your portrait poses will be made into a beautiful hard-bound presentation book which will be available for review one week after you session, at which time a $195 order down payment is due (this allows you to take the book home for one week). 50% of the balance is due at the time you place your order, with the balance due when you pick up your order (approximately 4-6 weeks later). If you need to make other payment arrangements that are more comfortable with you, then please let us know.  We’ll be happy to work with you.  Of course you can always use your MasterCard, Visa, or American Express to manage your payments (real handy if you’re enrolled in a card with reward points!)  Bottom line, we make it easy to get what you want without overextending your budget.

OK, so how do I make an appointment?

    Nothing could be easier, as long as you move quickly.

    First, go to our sessions page and check out the session choices. If you call now, you get any two or more sessions (Studio, Activities, Outdoor, or Downtown) for $40 off.  Please have your session choices ready when you call, as we won’t be able to schedule you without this information.  Also, because of the high demand of our photography, all session fees are paid in advance. We prefer that you have a credit card (or debit card with the Visa or M/C logo) ready when you call, or you can send us a check within three business days of your call.

    Just mention the web-only special and we’ll deduct the savings—no coupons to clip, no hoops to jump through.   

    After that, you can sit back and relax! In a day or two you will receive our color brochure in the mail that helps prepare you for your session. If you have any other questions, please let us know—we’re here to help!

Special message to procrastinators:

    It’s OK to wait until after the holidays to do your senior portraits.  Just call us now and make an appointment.  We’re already booking next season!  But to make sure you get a time that’s convenient for you, it’s very important that you call now (530-534-3278).
